Sinopsis

Frank Wheeler (Leonardo DiCaprio) dan April (Kate Winslet) adalah sepasang suami-istri yang tinggal di pinggiran kota Connecticut bersama dua anak mereka. Tanpa mereka sadari 'jarak' yang ada di antara mereka berdua makin hari makin bertambah lebar.

Frank adalah seorang pekerja kantor yang memiliki penghasilan lumayan besar. Namun di satu titik, karir yang menjanjikan ini tak lagi membuat Frank puas sementara di sisi lain, Kate istrinya juga mengalami hal yang sama. Kate sangat ingin berkarir di bidang seni peran namun karena kondisi yang tak memungkinkan, ia akhirnya berusaha membunuh mimpi-mimpinya itu.

In a jungle near the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, birds fly and sing, while a baby Spix's Macaw who cannot fly watches. Several of the birds, including the macaw, are caged by smugglers, and are taken to Moose Lake, Minnesota in the United States. The box containing the baby bird is accidentally left on the street, where it is found by a girl named Linda, who names him "Blu".

Fifteen years later, Linda (Leslie Mann) now owns and lives in a bookstore with Blu, who has still not learned how to fly. A scientist from Rio de Janeiro, Tulio, enters the store and tells Linda that Blu is the last male of his species, and he needs to take him to Rio, so that Blu can mate with a female to preserve the species.

Sinopsis

Siege of the Dead – Entitled Rammbock in its native German language, director Marvin Kren’s take on the zombie genre is a mightily entertaining jolt to the system.
